Welcome to Wilderness Retreat! This cozy cabin is located nestled in the woods about eight miles from downtown La Pointe. The cabin is a perfect location to be able to "get-away" from it all to relax and enjoy your time on Madeline Island. When you arrive at Wilderness Retreat you will feel like you are unplugging from the hustle and bustle of the city life and relaxing in this cabin retreat.
The cabin features two bedrooms on the main floor and a loft with a sitting area overlooking the kitchen & living area. The two bedrooms each have a queen bed and the loft has a futon (you must provide your own bedding if planning on using the futon).
The living, dining and kitchen area has an open "great room" floor plan that opens onto a wonderful screen porch overlooking the woods. The cabin features and outdoor shower, Smart-TV and Wi-Fi
Items that you will need to bring:

- Condiments (including salt and pepper, ketchup, mustard, etc. - WI Department of Health requires all condiments removed between each rental)
- Beach Towels (bath towels that we provide are for interior use only)

- Linens for each Bed - if you plan on using the futon in the loft, you are responsible for bringing your own bedding for it.
- Bath Towels for the number of guests listed on the reservation
- Complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue, Paper Towel, Garbage Bags along with Hand Soap and Shampoo/Conditioner for each bathroom
- Gas Grill
